Hosting the Perfect Girls Night With Risata Wines

Hi there! I hosted a girls night with some of my work friends and it was so much fun to relax and hang out with some of my best friends! I wanted to share some tips on how to host the perfect night with your girl friends.

Pick the Best Day For Everyone!

Trying to get all the girls together on one night can be difficult with everyone’s busy schedules, especially during the holidays! Wednesdays and Thursdays usually work the best for people in my experience. Weekends can be tricky with people traveling or spending time with family.

We decided to have a girls night on a Thursday night since it was towards the end of the week and we all had plans at the beginning of the week and over the weekend. Thursday was a great night, because everyone is less stressed with the weekend approaching!

Pick a Theme or Have a Casual Night!

Depending on the night and time you decide to host your girls night, you can pick a theme or go without a theme to be casual. I hosted our girls night on a Thursday night right after work so we were casual and just chatting and catching up about things going on in our lives. Sometimes, its nice to have a chill night without having to prepare a ton for it.

Here are some theme ideas for your next girls night if you’d like to have a theme:

  1. Movie & Pajama Night – Pick out a favorite movie and make popcorn!
  2. Spa Night – Face Masks and self-care!
  3. Game Night – What Do You Meme is one of my favorite games!
  4. Baking Night – Make your favorite treats!
  5. Pizza Night – Everyone makes their own pizza!

Decorate the Entertainment Space!

I live in a relatively small apartment so my entertainment space for our girls night was the kitchen and living room! I made sure to put out blankets and candles and declutter as much as possible. Whenever I have people over I try to make sure my apartment is clean and tidy, but also looks lived in and cozy!

Some of my favorite things to make the apartment cozy are my Chesapeake Bay Candles from Target – I had my Caramel Latte candle burning and my favorite blankets, especially this Primalush Throw Blanket from Target!

Pick & Prepare the Snacks!

My favorite snack to have out when people are over is a charcuterie board with prosciutto along with cheese and crackers! I buy the assorted crackers from Target’s Archer farms brand and then usually get gouda cheese and brie or black pepper white cheddar. These cheeses are relatively plain to accommodate everyone (including me – I eat very plain food!!). The prosciutto is also from Target, but I also like the Trader Joe’s kind as well!

This year, I also made some really cute Christmas cookies and had so many that I was able to keep some and share with my friends! I found the recipe for the sugar cookies here. It is so easy to make the dough and you can brag that you made them from scratch! 🙂

Choose Drinks to go with the Snacks!

My friends and I love wine and Risata Wines provided wine for our girls night! This wine comes from Italy and is the #1 Moscato d’Asti in America. We were provided Moscato d’Asti, Red Moscato, and Pink Moscato and my friends were so impressed by the quality of this wine! The Moscato was perfectly sweet and went very well with the crackers and cheese.

My favorite was the Pink Moscato, but they are ALL amazing! I’m normally a Red Wine drinker, and this Red Moscato was sweeter than I usually drink, but just as fabulous! I would highly recommend these wines at your next girls night to share with your friends – they are available at Target, Walmart, and Total Wine, as well as other stores!

This girls night was so much fun and I was so happy to spend time with my friends eating my favorite snacks and sipping on Risata Wines Moscato!

If you have any questions about the wine or any of the snacks I provided, please email me at genuinelygabbi@gmail.com or comment below!
