Hey y’all! It’s been awhile since I’ve made a blog post! Full transparency – life can get so busy sometimes and I’m still working on the balance of my full time job, blog, family, and friends!
I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces and outfits at the moment before the fall season officially starts! Stay tuned though, I’ll be making another post soon with my favorite Fall sweaters and other must-haves!
Mini Cami Dress & J.Crew Jean Jacket
This cute little date night outfit is perfect with the transition to fall – who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day?! Wearing my favorite denim jacket from J.Crew & this white mini cami dress from Abercrombie. My denim jacket was made with renewable energy and recycled water – which makes me love it even more – wearing a size 6 since I do have broad shoulders AND it’s currently on sale! The dress comes in 5 other colors and I’m wearing a size small for reference. I’m 5’2 and ordered the regular length (they also have petite and long available). I’ve linked my shoes in a previous post here.
Animal Prints – Snakeskin & Leopard
I also have been loving these animal print trends – why am I so obsessed??! This snakeskin dress is exactly what I didn’t know I needed! It’s also from Abercrombie (I think I have some kind of addiction? Let me know what you think) Unfortunately the tank top version of this dress pictured below is no longer available on Abercrombie.com, BUT I found a similar dress with the same pattern but it’s a short sleeve wrap dress. My little black open front sweater is from old navy and it’s perfect for a transition into fall. It comes in 8 other colors too, so I’d say buy them all! It’s under $25!! Make sure to check out the sales Old Navy is having!
Okay, Target is always killing the fashion game. Here’s a super cute animal print tank top that I can’t stop wearing! It’s from the Target brand, A New Day, and it’s perfect for fall under a sweater or jacket with jeans or leggings! I styled this tank top with white jeans and a white skirt and I loved this look! Wearing a size small and it’s under $20!!
Lace Trim Cami
This lace trim clipdot cami is also from Abercrombie and it’s one of my favorites!! It’s a must this season with the lace trim trend. I love the added texture the clip dot pattern adds to the shirt! It’s adorable for layering and transitioning into fall. Wearing a size small & it’s under $35!
Light-Weight Sweaters
There’s been more chilly days than I would have expected in Minnesota at this time of the year and there are 2 sweaters I keep wearing on repeat!
I love this V-Neck relaxed crew sweatshirt from Abercrombie (no surprise haha) because it’s cropped but still cozy and cute. I have a pretty short torso, so it actually looks pretty normal on me! Wearing a size small and I just found that it’s on sale right now on Abercrombie.com for under $20!!!
I’ve also been wearing this Pink Lily Boutique Distressed Sweater that comes in SO many colors (7 according to their website!) and I love how lightweight it is. I’d say this is my favorite sweater I have this year so far! I love wearing my free people bralette with this sweater – it comes in 9 colors – I have it in both white and black! Wearing a size small in both the sweater ($46) and bralette ($38).
